How Deals Guide makes money
Effective: September 9, 2026
Deals Guide is free to read. We earn money two ways, and each page says which applies above its first product link:
- Sponsored retailer links. Some retailers (for example JCPenney) pay us for each click that goes from our guide to their site. These pages are labeled "Sponsored". The link takes you straight to the retailer; we don't add steps in between.
- Affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. These pages carry the FTC-required disclosure. Links go directly to Amazon with our tag (no redirects, no masked URLs), and the price you see is Amazon's at the time of your visit; we don't quote prices we didn't fetch.
Being paid doesn't move a product up our list. Where we rank by performance, we rank by what readers actually buy, and we remove items that get clicks but not purchases. Out-of-stock items are hidden. Promotions show their end date and disappear when it passes.
We honor Global Privacy Control and the "Do Not Sell or Share" choice: with either on, we don't send your visit to advertising platforms or store advertising identifiers.
